Every year when Jay goes to compete either himself or his culinary team, they eat BBQ. In order to continue the tradition, we went to Jack Stacks. The place was packed and we still got a table within a minute or so.
The art was pretty nifty.

The little statues of piggies everywhere were adorbs.

Jay had a strawberry lemonade which was super yummy, David had the traditional Sprite, and I had Kansas City Lemonade. The Kansas City Lemonade had Rushers Kansas City whiskey, freshly squeezed lemonade and blackberry syrup.

For appetizers, we ordered onion rings and burnt ends. Jay preferred the onion rings but I liked the burnt ends way better. The way they presented the onion rings was unique.

We ordered the sampler with lamb ribs, beef ribs, and BBQ chicken.

We had cheesy corn bake, BBQ beans, and cheesy potato bake. My favorite were the potatoes but Jay liked the corn. It was good. It just tasted like velvetta with corn, onions, and bacon.
It’s not the type of restaurant that I would crave to go back to. It was like “meh”.
